The closed terrarium consists of glass container which creates a completely functional ecosystem. The enclosed space allows condensation to form on the glass walls inside to water the plants on its own. It is the equivalent of having a small water cycle within the container. This means, if kept in a cool, dry space in your home, the closed terrarium will not need to be watered!
